 Abseiling
Abseiling is an exciting and challenging sport that
we specialise in. Experienced personnel ensure the
highest
degree of safety. Depending on the skill of the participants,
we can vary the difficulty of the abseil from easy
to extreme. Each client will have an instructor close
by
to ensure being led down safely during each descent.
At the same time a safety officer controls the client
from below. These extreme safety measures have earned
us our renowned reputation. The chosen locations where
these events are held provide impressive views. A truly
unforgettable experience.
 Climbing
This sport is rapidly becoming one of the world’s
most popular outdoor activities. The availability of
a large number of climbs of varying grades on the islands
make for a comfortable selection that caters for almost
any type of enthusiast, from the complete beginner to
the seasoned expert. History & Adventure provide
this opportunity and ensures that clients enjoy the experience
in an entirely safe environment.
 Aerial Ropeway
The activity for the more adventurous. During this activity
we actually traverse a valley or descend from high
ground to a lower ground by hanging on a pulley that
is attached to a rope. During these events we have
qualified and experienced personnel to ensure the highest
level of safety to our clients.
 Trekking
Our treks will take you through natural beauty including
cliffs and valleys. Our program is for the experienced
and adventurous persons. This could be combined with overnight
camping.
 Walking Tours
These walking tours can be organised over a number
of days and will visit areas where one can observe
Maltese
landscape, flowers, trees and wildlife. These tours
may include typical villages, wayside chapels and
ancient farmhouses.
 Mountain Biking
Experience Malta's and Gozo's most breathtaking views
and countryside. The routes are also offered with varying
degrees of challenge from a leisurely pace through
various country lanes, to hard and rough off-roading.
During the ride our experienced co-ordinators, all
carrying radios, will lead the group through selected
and well-planned
tracks. The clients are shown picturesque views; historical
villages and if desired a fair amount of off-roading.
Of course this depends mainly on the fitness of the
riders. The route includes various planned stops for
resting
and refreshments.
Facilities provided include a back-up trailer, so the
clients are always assured that their needs are dealt
with quickly. We always carry a number of spare bikes
so instead of fixing a bike, should one develop a
fault, we simply change it. This ensures that the clients
are never bored waiting for repairs to be carried
out.
Also,
if a client decides to quit, he can ride in the back-up
vehicle for the rest of the trek.
 Jeep Safari
Enjoy unspoilt scenery from vantage points known only
to the locals. By jeep the most beautiful places of
Malta can be visited, places that very few tourists
manage to see. The Jeep Safari is ideal for all age
groups and it is a superb way of getting to know Malta
and Gozo. We concentrate on an action packed tour,
full of scenic beauty and fun. It is surely a true
adventure off the beaten track.
Treasure Hunt (On foot, by bike, by jeep)
This is a fabulous event that relies on communication,
teamwork and creativity. It also allows participants
to discover points of interest in the area covered
by the hunt. Each team gets a questionnaire, pencil
and any maps or other paper work required. The aim
is to answer and solve as many riddles as possible.
Photo Treasure Hunts may also be organised, where participants
will also be provided with one Polaroid camera per
team. Besides answering questions they also have to
take photos. Points will be given according to the
number of correct answers given. We can also organise
treasure hunts that include various mixed elements,
i.e. which require teams to do various tasks such as
Abseiling or other team building games.
 Orienteering
We will show participants the basics of map reading and
how to use a compass. We will then organise a small
competition that will test how effective they are at
using these skills.
 Horse Riding
This can be carried out throughout the year, however
in summer we recommend horse riding early in the morning
or late in the afternoon. Rides take the participants
to overlook some of the most popular beaches, cliffs,
countryside and other spectacular views in Malta. Riding
hats are also provided.
 Clay Pigeon Shooting
Test your skill and accuracy shooting live ammunition
at a fast moving target released from one of our automatic
traps. Our professional instructors will help you achieve
results well beyond your expectations. The shooting
layout is designed to suit novices and also challenge
the more experienced shooters. You are provided with
guns, low-recoil cartridges and other safety equipment
that is required.
 Camping
This is an activity we specialise in. We can offer
a camping site complete with tents, kipmats and all
the
necessary equipment, except for sleeping bags. Our
staff can also prepare food and organise team building
activities.
During the Summer months, these activities may include
a Speed Boat Treasure Hunt. Whereas, we suggest trekking
and horse riding as activities during a winter camp. This
is a typical campsite organised for a group of
120 persons.
Quad Bikes Ride For Fun
Ride 4 Fun takes you down country lanes where
Polaris ATV's (All Terrain Vehicles) make it
possible. A maximum
group of eight people, four drivers and four passengers,
follow an experienced guide for an hour through rugged
terrain overlooking sandy beaches, riding through farming
fields, and through wooded areas. Safety is a priority.
Helmets, eye protection, and insurance are provided
and the guide carefully instructs the rider
on proper riding
techniques. ATV's are easy to drive. They have automatic
transmission, so there is no gear shifting and the
electronic throttle lever controls the speed.
The front and the
rear brakes are activated by one lever. Ride 4 Fun
gives you a memorable experience of maneuvering
an ATV through
terrain usually only accessible on foot, and seeing
some of Malta's beautiful scenery.
