Malta caters to different types
of tourists. You like sunbathing and swimming,
nightlife or visiting historical places, Malta
can give you all of that and more.
Summer is the ideal season for those who love
the heat, the sun and sea. Also the nightlife scene
is buzzing at this time of year. If you prefer
it a bit cooler and more relaxed May/June and September/October
are more for your type.

For those with historical places in their minds
Malta offers a history that goes back more then
6000 years. There are numerous historical sites
and temples, which are a must. Cathedrals, fortification,
palaces and gardens especially from the Knight
of Malta era are abundant. For those with religious
tendencies there is a wealth of churches, shrines,
Cathedral, small wayside chapels etc. There is
also the “fiestas” in which each town
and village celebrates its patron saint feast.
The best time to come is in spring or early summer
and in autumn so as to avoid the worst of the heat
and be able to enjoy a Greener Malta.

Winter in Malta although wet is very mild. Lovely
sunny, warm days occur frequently. There are fewer
tourists around so it is quieter, cleaner and at
this time of the year you can find special offers
and get a Bargain holiday.
Gozo is especially worth a visit or a stay for
a few days. It is an enchanted tranquil island
where time still goes slowly by.
