 "Stephania
Borg, one of the multimedia developers at Alert Communications,
has recently graduated from the
MCAST Institute of Art and Design, Mosta with a Diploma
in Design.
For her thesis she decided
to create a comprehensive portal for the Maltese Islands,
namely www.Maltavoyager.com.
This is a portal of information about Malta
for Maltese & foreigners, students, historians
and artists.
www.maltavoyager.com includes everything a Maltese
or foreign visitor needs to know about the Maltese
Islands – History, Places of Interest, Culture,
Destinations, Tourist Information, Hotels & Restaurants,
Sports, Events, Special Features and Articles. The
site also includes interactive features such as Games,
Music, a Kid’s Corner, Wallpapers and Screensavers
and360 degrees virtual tours of various places in Malta
such as Mnajdra and Hagar Qim.
Visitors to the site can also browse through
photos of breathtaking Maltese landscapes, sign the
guest book and participate in online polls.
Stephania had this to say about the project. “Maltavoyager
was a great opportunity for me to give Maltese society
and the Internet my contribution as a web designer.
I would like to thank all the people who gave their
contribution for the creation of this website, and
