N.B. At Rabat (Victoria) the capital of Gozo, both St Mary’s Cathedral and St George’s Basilica hold the annual Good Friday Procession.  To avoid two processions being held on the same day and time, one is organized on Maundy Thursday and the other on Good Friday.  Processions alternate every year and thus one particular procession held on Maundy Thursday in one year is held on Good Friday in the consecutive year.
