 As
part of the Lenten Activities for this year YouthLinks
are going to present an animated Via Sagra. As probably
everybody knows the Via Sagra is performed in our churches
at this period of the year as part of our preparation
to the greatest feast of all, the Holy Easter.
The Via Sagra shows us all the stages that Christ
passed during his passion and death. Entitled‘Ghalija
Mulej?’ YouthLinks will show us all the 14 stages
in detail and full of thoughtful conversations between
Christ himself and other characters, that will mix up
current day to day situations. The Via Sagra will start
from St.Francis Church at 19:30 hours and will continue
in the nearby streets of Ta’Paris. Each stage
will be held entirely on a parapet accompanied by music
and special light effects. The peak will be reached
with the crucifixion of Christ that will be staged on
the parvis of the same church where it started.
‘Ghalija Mulej?’ is all organized and
coordinated by youths that will bring up their view
on what Christ would do or say if he was living in our
times. It’s again an interesting activity that
YouthLinks are organizing which is totally free of charge.
